After your Starting Point Group, you will move into r12.
On every journey you’ll have experiences. Some good, some not so good. Those experiences force you to adapt and shape who you are and who God wants you to be. Whether or not you grow through them is up to you. At Fresh Start, we have an environment where you can begin to experience who God is. That environment is an r12 Group.
r12 is the second step on your journey as you learn to experience who God is and learn how to become an authentic disciple of Christ. Being an authentic disciple of Christ flows out of a relationship with Him. It’s about experiencing God’s grace, not earning His love through performance.
An r12 Group would meet together once a week for 7 weeks. Together, your r12 Group will study Romans chapter 12. Romans 12 provides a relational profile of an authentic disciple.
An r12 Group is for those that have renewed what’s in their mind and are ready to allow God to reshape what’s in their heart. They have explored God and are ready to begin experiencing Him.
r12 is offered as the second step on the Explore, Experience, Express journey. The primary way to attend r12 is to first attend a Starting Point Group and then move from Explore to Experience together. r12 Groups will also be offered at various times throughout the year.
The r12 study does have a book and study guide that you can purchase at the Fresh Start bookstore. To receive the most from your r12 Group, both would be necessary.
