Our nursery environment is designed for kids birth to 2 years old. The nursery is open for all of our weekend services in the main Worship Center.
Your child will be cared for by people who love children and love God and have gone through our screening process which includes having a background check. There is also a mother and infant care room for nursing mothers to attend to their babies.
Our preschool environment hosts kids age 3 thru kindergarten. We follow a large group/small group model. Kids will start off in their age-appropriate classrooms and then worship and learn together as a large group.
We currently use Elevate Jr. curriculum that allows kids to learn outstanding truths about God’s word in relationship to their own life stage.
Our Elementary Ministry is a high energy environment specifically for kids 1st through 5th grade. During the service they play games, sing worship songs and most importantly learn about God through his word, then they break off into small groups that are separated by age. There they memorize verses, talk about the Bible story and do activities with their small group leader.
Who Can Attend Fresh Start Kids?
ALL children (babies through 5th grade) can attend Fresh Start Kids during each of our Sunday services! We are so passionate when it comes to kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand, that we do not suggest bringing them into our worship experience designed for adults and students 6th grade and older.
What is Available for Nursing Moms?
An “Infant and Baby Care Room” is available outside the nursery wing for moms and babies and can also be a place for nursing mothers. In this room, you can view the service via a TV monitor or viewing window.
Can My Children Stay Together?
It is our policy that your children can stay together if needed, but the older child must go down to the younger child’s environment.
How Safe Are My Kids?
Security is our top priority. Each child is issued an identification tag at check-in, along with a matching tag for parents. When you pick up your child, we ask that you present this to your child’s classroom teacher to ensure that each child is released to the proper adult. We also require that anyone picking up or dropping off a child be at least 18 years of age. We will not release a child to anyone under that age, with or without an identification tag.
How Will I Be Notified of Any Problems?
If your child is ill or has been inconsolable for more than 10 minutes, we will notify you. On each child’s tag is a phone number that is used for check in, and that is the number that we will use to reach you.
Who is Watching My Child?
Our Fresh Start Kids Team is comprised of individuals who have accepted Christ as their personal Savior and are passionate about kids. It is their desire to share the love of Jesus with your child. All of our nursery workers, classroom teachers, helpers, and check-in greeters go through a background check and screening process.
